Eric (affectionately known as Pastor Pusch) hails from the Greater Detroit region in Michigan. He’s been in ministry for over 20 years serving as both an Associate Pastor and Lead Pastor in the Nashville community. Having worked for the denominations publishing house, he has traveled and built relationships with church leaders across the country. Pusch most recently served as the Lead Pastor in Nashville for 11 years before stepping down shortly after his Leukemia diagnosis in August of 2022. Today, by a God’s grace, Eric’s cancer is in remission and his Stem Cell transplant has been a life saver.
Eric met his wife, Rena (longtime member of Cofer’s) while attending Welch College where he studied Theology with a Pastor Ministry emphasis. Eric and Rena were married in August of 2003 and are blessed with 3 children (or crazies, as Eric likes to call them). Prior to his last pastorate, Eric and his family were members at Cofer’s Chapel and in his words “its feels so good to be back.”
